Bird-B-Gone Bird Spider

Bird Spiders are stand alone visual deterrents used to scare large pest birds away from concentrated areas. The Bird Spider "arms" bounce and sway in the wind, creating a visual distraction zone, birds will not want to come near the area being treated. Bird spiders are offered in four different sizes: 2', 4' and 8' and have different portable bases for easy removal and storage.

The Bird Spider comes pre-assembled and is easy to install and remove. Bird Spiders come standard with a glue-on base. This can be glued down permanently to flat surfaces. Bird Spiders are also available with railing mounts, for easy attachment to boat rails. Other attachments include a removable sand bag base, and boat base.

Available Accessories

Sand Bag Base: Portable 8-pound canvas base used to weigh down a Bird Spider, so that it can be installed on surfaces without permanent attachments. The Sandbag Base screws into the base of the Bird Spider with the included screws and has eyelets around the outer ring that can be used to further secure the unit.
Boat Base: Typically used for installing Bird Spiders on masts or spreaders. The Boat Base is the shape of an X, with clear vinyl arms that wrap around beams, and can be secured with bungee cords or rope. The unit attaches to the base of the Bird Spider with the included screws.
Glue: construction grade polyurethane adhesive called E6100. E6100 is designed for outdoor use, and will not sag, drip or run, and can be used in applications that require vertical and horizontal hold. It comes in a standard caulking tube and will cover 25 linear feet. E6100 is clear and can be used for wood, metal, glass, fiberglass, ceramics, masonry, concrete, and plastic. Each tube holds 10.2 ounces of adhesive. Recommended for bird spikes, bird slope and bird spiders.
